What effect does the accelerated time scheme have on the play’s development? Is it plausible that a love story of this magnitude could take place so quickly?

i dont think this is right and i dont think love can happen that fast! but then again this happened in a different time period so this could of been alright... i think at least!

i think they are taking it to fast and i dont think it is possible for them to be really in love because they just met.

I think that the love Theme totally makes the story but it is a little weird that they got married the day after they met. But thins like that did happen more then and there were even betrothals where the person didn't meet their bride until the wedding

I agree, you think you are in love, but in reality the person you think you are in love with might not be your soul mate. Love had to happen fast beacuase they didn't live long, so romeo and juliet passed getting to know each other, they just leaped into marriage. i just don't think they undrstand wat love truely is.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Well i don't. they need to go on at least ONE date before you get married.

at that age you really don't know what love is and I would find it very hard to fall in love and marry someone when you have only known them for a couple of days.

I think the fact that the story goes so fast kind of adds to the story's intensity and mood. What do you think?

I think we all agree on this subject lol.

I think that without love this story wouldnt have any walue... yet I don't see how you can get married so fast and so young.. personally I know that I would never be able to do this

Well it does add to its intensity because it makes it so you dont know what will happen next.

It is not plausible, but i guess anything is possible. however, if shakespeare only had a certain time to send a message, it's bound to be a little quick.
