Scout TKAM question
I think that Scout should only be told the basics about Tom Robinson and the rape case. I think that she is too young to be told very much about stuff like that. Even though Scout does seem pretty mature, I still think that little kids should not really know about rape. Scout should be explained the reasons why people dont think Atticus should defend a black man, but she should not be told all of what people think Tom did.

I do agree that Scout might be too young to fully understand what rape is, but I feel like with the family's situation that Scout should be informed with what really is going on. Eventually I do think Scout will fully realize what her family is going through. It might not be now,later, or even 2 years after the case, but I think she will come to understand.
I agree only she should know everything all the details of the case and what rape is just in a confusing way. ~martin~
